Practice During Ramzan

Practice during Ramzan :

• Every day Muslims around the world Wake-Up before dawn to eat SAHUR.

• Muslims perform the FAJR Paryer.

• Muslims have to stop eating and drinking before the call for prayer starts until the fourth prayer of the day.

• They break their fast at MAGRIB (at sunset) prayer time with a meal called IFTAR.

• Muslims are allowed to eat and drink after the sunset till next morning’s FAJIR prayer.

A person during Ramzan might break it accidentally, if he/she has forgotten it. This can generally happen in the early days of Ramzan because that person might have not yet been acclimated into fasting from sunrise till sunset. In such cases one might spit out the food being eaten or end the forbidden activity, immediately upon remembering the fast.

The person who has practiced Ramzan properly, will have all their past sins forgiven. There is also a belief that during Ramzan Heaven's gates are opened, and Hell's gates are closed.
